Does Meditation Help Improve Dream Recall?

I am new to lucid dreaming and I am at the stage of dream recall. I was wondering, since I meditate before I go to sleep, if meditation helps improve dream recall?

Not sure..I also meditate daily. Might want to try finding out. Try not meditating for a week, see how it goes, meditate for a week, see how it goes, dont meditate for a week once more, and see how it goes.

not sure about dream recall but overall meditation helps achieve lucidity and meditation is generally good for both sleep and wakefulnesses - no reason not to do it

I agree, meditation certainly won't do any harm. In fact, meditation tends to get your mind used to varied states of consciousness. You can find that your dream recall improves if you meditation after having a dream....

Yeah, meditation is a good thing to get into, regardless of whether it helps your dream recall.

According to some people meditation increases and evolves your energy body, and stimulates your energy-centers (chakras).
This is all essential for remembering dreams and making it easier to get lucid. BUT if you meditate at night instead of sleeping 7-8 hours it could ruin your dreamrecall due to sleeping to deep (because of lack of sleep) so try to get the balance right.
