      Hello, I am a new venturer...

      Hello,

      My name is Josh and I recently found an interest in lucid dreaming after reading a chapter out of a science book about dreaming. It told about lucid dreaming in small detail but allowed for me to discover the meaning of the term. As a result, I began to find a lot of interest in the subject after I realized that I had indeed had a lucid dream before but didn't really think much of it. That's why I started to do online searches today and see what I could find about lucid dreaming and techniques to induce it.

      My goal for my time on this site is to discover more about the complexities about the dream world and lucid dreaming and to better my journey through it. I hope to discover many techniques that will allow for me to better my focus and knowledge on lucid dreaming. I also hope to discover many influential people who will at as guides to my dream world. I hope my new awareness of the subject doesn't draw people away and I hope I'm not too much of an ingnorant newbie on the subject .

      Nobody's too ignorant to be on this website. After all, just look at No-Name . Either way, welcome to DreamViews. I've seen too many newbies come here with an interest in lucid dreaming, only to leave the next week. Let's hope you stay here. It's a pretty loose knit community, so long as you follow the rules. For the love of god, don't go into religion/spirituality or beyond dreaming. I'd stay out of philosophy, and... well just about anywhere you happen to see a high degree of trollness. You can now welcome me as your all powerful lord and master.

      It still amazes me that lucid dreaming is not more popular or well known. It is such an amazing ability we all have, but many people still have no idea what it is.

      So far, I actually enjoy the forum community in itself, so I don't believe I'll be going anywhere anytime soon. Also, I try to stay out of Religious debates on the internet because everyone has opinions and no one respects them on the internet. I believe what I believe and everyone has the freedom of choice to also believe what they want to believe, imo atleast...
