      Hey all.

Well I've been into lucid dreaming for about 2 months, and I've had one WILD, and one DILD. I succeeded WILDing on my 1st real attempt, but have been unable to succeed since then. I've got a few questions.

When I was just in elementary school, I found that if I placed my thumbs on my cheeks and pressed my palms into my eyes, (not too hard, but pressure all the same) I could get a flurry of rapidly changing colors, swirls, and patterns. Could someone who WILDs often who experiences Hypnogogic Imagery tell me if these are about the same? Thanks.

I'd like some tips on how to focus off of your physical body. Visualizing myself inside of some game like world of warcraft seems to work, but I haven't actually managed to get a WILD out of it yet. My fingers will twitch and my focus will go to them. I haven't actually fallen asleep when WILDing since my first attempt suceeded. I usually WILD during a nap. A schedule is beginning to set in, and I feel sleepy at certain times of the day.

For DILDs my reality check system is to reality check whenever I enter a room.

      Oh right. Hello.

HI is often expereinced before WILDing or upon waking up into a state of sleep paralysis. Putting pressure on your eyes causes alot of people to see strange colors and patterns, but that should be different from HI.

The problem here is that you are thinking of something which is very active. I mean, it takes alot of thought to mantain a WOW fantasy so your body may never fall asleep thinking about WOW. The whole point of the visualization is to clear your head, an in depth fantasy will clutter it. If visualizing a game helps, I've thought of tic-tac-toe. I really wouldn't get more in depth than that.

Hopefully this helped. Don't be shy to PM me, or any dream guide, if you have more questions.

I usually feel numbness, but not exctly vibrations, at least not the way I would think. Do vibrations feel like numbness to anyone?
