Altough I'm new here, I think it's a matter of attitude. If you would be like, "yay I had a fantastic lucid dream, and tonight I will have another", you wouldn't be depressed. And anyways, in a good LD, you can live out all your desires, so you won't be that depressed when you wake up. |

There have been people who have had this problem on DV. Sometimes, people do get too excited about sleeping and alienate the RL. Thing is, lucid dreaming can do the exact opposite. By lucid dreaming, you can become more motivated in life seeing as you no longer have to daydream or focus on un-real things. Just save it for sleep! Also, most people upon having a great lucid wake up refreshed and encouraged. The better the LD, the more encouraged most people are. At any rate, if you don't like it you can always stop. |
