      A few questions.. :)

Hi, I have known about lucid dreams for quite a while now but never thought of venturing into them; Recently I have been much more interested (which is a good sign right? ) and want to delve into the world of lucidity!

I have spent some time researching the topic and ended up here! Seems like a great community and everyones nice!

I cant help but feel very confused though, theres so many threads and so much information out there I dont even know where to begin.. after days of searching I still dont know.

Can anybody help me with this? Theres probably not a step by step guide but something close would be great. Thanks!

There's more than one route to take. On the site's main page, they list them. What to choose depends on your strengths or weaknesses. For example, are you already at the point where you remember you have dreamt every night and usually remember your dreams pretty well?

I'm good at recalling my dreams in good detail and have been for many years. Is this good?

Yes, very good. It means you've already gotten past the common step of needing to learn how to remember your dreams and the dependence on a dream journal. Though you could keep one for highlights and charting progress with lucidity.

You could probably select from any of the methods you feel most comfortable with.

For the most part, some people are good at DILD, some at WILD, and some at both. Everything else is a derivative of one or the other. Try taking this quiz; http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=77361 to see which one you're good at (Thanks, Shift!).

After that, there are a couple of places you can go. If you find you're good at WILD, go to the WILD sub forum, it's all put together there. Otherwise, you'll want to browse "Lucid Discussion" "Attaining Lucidity" and forums like that. I'd recommend starting a Dream Journal no matter what you plan to do.
