      My Introduction

Hello, I'm glad I found this great community.

I seem to be better at dreaming than anyone I talk to about it and as nice as that is to realize,. It's time to change that and talk to more experienced dreamers. I never read dream interpretation books or lucid dreaming techniques because anything I do well, I learn to do by myself. I don't want to interfere with my own techniques but I'd like to start learning how other people do things so I can help others more efficiently.

Knowledge can't hurt and I've been holding up a useless shield, perhaps. I like to help people get lucid or at the very least, convince them to appreciate their dreams and the time spent in them. I hope to one day write a book about a lucid dreaming. Waking Life is by far, my favourite movie.

I suppose I'll end my introduction here.

It seems odd to me that you guys don't have an "Introductions" thread stickied for people to introduce themselves without making a new thread every time.

      Welcome to DV Mud

Knowlegde deffinately can't hurt, and I'm sure you'll both improve and expand your horizon by studying LD There's many many good tutorials on this site, aswell as a lot of experiences by a lot of people. Hope you'll enjoy your stay here ^^

Well, there's quite a lot of newcomers around, which means many threads. All introductions are different, some are short, some are long, and some contains questions, which leads to other questions. Addressing all this in one single thread would simply become impossible in the end

This whole subforum is dedicated to introductions, which in my opinion is a lot more efficient than an intro thread. anyway, we welcome you to DV and hope you can become a great member of the community. firstly, do you know all the the dream-related acronyms used here? if not here is the link

I'm sure you will be a great teacher, but you need to know the stuff like WILDs and DILDs, SP, REM, HH etc. first right?. cool. maybe I'll come back here if i need some help!

      RE:

      thanks guys,
Yeah I've been studying the acronyms.
It's going to take a little while, but I'm keeping the list handy.

And yeah I realize the whole sub-forum is dedicated to introductions and is logical and more personalized. It's cool and I was just mentioned that observation.. for no real reason, hah.

haha. well then, good luck! oh yeah, and if you are really ready to help people out you can use the forums, or there is a subforum made for adopting newbies, if you want. I mean, if thats what you want to do.

When I say "help people" I more mean help real life people I talk to when I sit around in a park or get high with and babble about stuff.

Not to say I don't want to help people online, I do. But I'm pretty much just here for the conversation.

      and, fableflame:
      "CLIMB THE HIGHEST MOUNTAIN
      PUNCH THE FACE OF GOD"

I can't believe you can freely talk about this to people. that's great. I suppose i need an opportunity to slip it into conversation or something? haha.
