      Hello!

      Hello everyone,

I've been registered here for about week, and I finally decided to post Hmm, a little bit about me...

I know a decent amount about lucid dreaming. I have always been interested in dreams, dream interpretations, and I've always been intrigued by stories of astral projection, OOBE, etc. (though I myself do not personally know anyone who has had such an experience). I don't get a chance to try lucid dreaming very often because my sleep schedule isn't regular (I fall asleep at different times every evening and wake up at different times every morning), and every day I'll have a different schedule. However, my dream recall is very good, and I usually write down my dreams if I get a chance to.

What pushed me to post today though, is that I had a strange experience this morning. This week my schedule is wake up at 7:30, hit the snooze button eight hundred times, finally get up and get dressed around 8:00, leave for work and come home around 5:00. This morning, however, I was awakened by a buzzing sound. It sounded much like a cell phone vibrating, only much louder and "harder," as though maybe it was a cell phone vibrating on marbles. I was indeed dreaming before I heard the sound, but the dream had nothing to do with any kind of buzzing sound. I immediately sat straight up in a cold sweat, for some reason it had scared me (and I am usually a pretty mellow person, and I don't get scared that easily), and looked around the room. My immediate thought was that perhaps it was my cell phone, and picked it up. No messages, no voicemails, no missed calls - it was 5:20a.m.

Anyway, that was my excitement for the morning. I thought I would share and see what everyone's thoughts are. Perhaps I won't lurk so much and will post more

      Hello and to DV.
It sounded much like a cell phone vibrating, only much louder and "harder,"
That sounds like the transition stage of a WILD. About waking up in cold sweat maybe you saw a scary hallucination or heard something that might have jolted you awake. I'm not a master but I research a lot so I might be right. Maybe try asking yellowlight. Or wait a while for a more sophisticated answer. Anyway feel free to ask any questions you might have.

Welcome to DV, yes, lurk less, post more! (On-topic if possible XD)
And the experience sounds like HH, probably you woke up in SP, didn't notice and had sound hallucinations in it, pretty common to get scared in these.
