Check out these threads, they were very interesting! |

Paul is Dead
There is scientific evidence that dream time is broadly the same as real time. |

Well, of course not. But you can have what is percieved to be years, or process more data in dream minute then you would have in a waking minute, so it's almost as if you may as well be experiencing an hour, or a week, or a month, in a 30 minute long dream. |

I didn't mean it as in real life time lasting years, but I meant "feeling" it being that long in the dream. |

You can make lucid dreams seem to pass time. |
|
Yes but the story passes over a decade. |

I would say I've had the same. Mainly because I simply don't have a good measure of how much time has passed. But I'm talking about 15 minutes maybe seeming more like half an hour. |

Being aware of time in a dream would be the key in changing it. But making it slow down seems... wierd. Example.. if it were in any way possable we could slow time.. what would be the consequence?.. right.. we´d be screwing physics. Gravitation is defined, and if g is 9,81 m/s².. then its 9,81 m/s². We couldn´t be able to slow it or make it go faster in our dreams, even if Lucid. |

There is no fate...
This should help you out : Dream Control Tutorial. Make sure that you read all of the subtutorials, it's really important that you understand how dreams are made in order to be able to control them |

I have no need to try it, although it has been proven that the sense of time in a dream is different. For example, I had a dream that was in my 5th REM period or so that SEEMED to last hours but I don't believe it could've lasted more than an hour. |

Im actually kind of surprised no one has said anything about this yet but Stephen LaBerge claims to have been in a dream that lasted 100 years (100 years in the dream of course not in real life). Countless times have i fallen asleep at 6:30 had a dream that spanned over a day or two and awaken at 6:35. Those times are just examples by the way but i believe it is very possible to make a dream feel longer than you are actually asleep. How to do it purposely while lucid i have no clue, although i have read that verbal commands can work...the only problem is even if i tried i think i would still lose lucidity fairly quickly and wouldnt be able to realize any change at all. I think you would have to be very skilled at keeping stable in a ld in order to experience any percievable change in speed of time in your ld. |

The seems to be the opposite of what I've read. |
