So I just started my dream journal last night, and amazingly already have an entry just by telling myself I would . My biggest question about lucid dreams is the control. Eventually you're able to control your dreams, but can you control the time in your dreams. I.E. could I say "Okay I want this dream to last thousands of years." Would that be possible to make my dream feel like it lasted an incredibly long time but in reality wake up in a matter of hours?
I once had a dream where i could rewind it if i didnt like something that happened, is that what you mean?

Im actually kind of surprised no one has said anything about this yet but Stephen LaBerge claims to have been in a dream that lasted 100 years (100 years in the dream of course not in real life). Countless times have i fallen asleep at 6:30 had a dream that spanned over a day or two and awaken at 6:35. Those times are just examples by the way but i believe it is very possible to make a dream feel longer than you are actually asleep. How to do it purposely while lucid i have no clue, although i have read that verbal commands can work...the only problem is even if i tried i think i would still lose lucidity fairly quickly and wouldnt be able to realize any change at all. I think you would have to be very skilled at keeping stable in a ld in order to experience any percievable change in speed of time in your ld.
