Thread: First Lucid Dream - First post!

Hi all! Another excited begginer here. The possibilities!!!!!

So, since i took an interest in it a few months ago ive been paying more attention to my dreams, started to recognise dream signs etc making reality checks part of daily routine. Had my first LD on the 23rd of June.

Was walking down the stairs in what was a hybrid of the last two houses i've lived in, don't really know if something made me think i might be dreaming or it was just a routine nose check but when i found i could still breath the feeling and the realisation....it really is too much for words. I instantly let myself fall forwards and flew down the remaining steps and out the open front door, i've always been a flyer so it just came natually.

Flew around for a bit just remarking on the curiosity of knowing you are dreaming while dreaming, then i approached the girl (a stranger) who had been in the dream prior to its lucidity, she looked a bit like someone off my uni course so i concentrated on morphing her into the person i knew, when it worked i was so excited by endless possibilities i soon lost lucidity.

The next night i had another burst of lucidity, this time brought on by a dream sign, im not a very violent person, so if im fighting or hitting someone then i'm probably dreaming. I was in a sports stadium, naturally all the girls had to take their clothes off.

Thats it so far, been on holliday and didn't sleep very well in the heat so none since those initial two, but i'm going to have another one tonight and i've got a list of things to try.

Anyway, all i really wanted to say is this place looks cool, can't wait to take it further with help and inspiration from all you crazy dreamers!
