Last night I wanted to try and induce sleep paralysis so when i went to bed i layed perfectly still and never moved a muscle. After laying for an hour, from 10 to 11, it never came. Was there a reason i didn't experience SP? |

You will have a much greater chance of inducing sleep paralysis by using the WBTB first. |

"I had a dream...crazy dream. Anything I wanted to know, any place I needed to go"
Why do you want to induce sleep paralysis? |
|
If sleep paralysis is your goal (I don't know why it would be), your best bet is to wake yourself up from a lucid dream prematurely. You could also try lying completely still after one of your natural midnight awakenings. |
|
The trick to getting to sleep paralysis is relaxation. You really have relax your muscles, let go, and act as if your falling asleep normally. Next time, take deep breathes, this relaxes the body more. |
