Hey Dream Views, I recently signed up here an attempt to really devote my mind to achieving lucid dreams. I first got interested a few years ago, and I still haven't even got close to success.
Over those years the level at which I focused on varied. Only in the past few months have I really started thinking about it daily. Quite frankly I'm fed up of not being able to get it to work. I know people that have had them their whole lives and never though anything of it.
I started keeping a dream journal a few months ago, as my dream recall in general is pathetic. It's helped a lot, though I still often go nights without remembering. Sometimes I get a few in one night though.
My problem is that my dreams just don't seem like everyone else's. I generally feel completely disconnected. Blurred. I've never even thought about doing a reality check while dreaming. Nothing ever seems weird to me, even though most my dreams are impossible in reality. I don't have a dream sign. Anything I've noted as odd never seems to return. The only thing I could possibly call a dream sign is just being completely delusional, which is quite hard to identify while delusional, hah.
My sleep patterns are always pretty off, I think I must have some level of insomnia or delayed sleep phase syndrome (based on my own evaluation lol).

I'm thinking of picking up some Melatonin and/or Vitamin B6. Is this a good idea for me? If so, what dosages?

Thanks. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
