Hello, i am new which type or LD should i have?

I have looked at this site for a week or so and a have started a dream journal and i try and RC in my dreams but it seems like I am just going along for the ride and have no control over what happens in the dream.

So i was wondering if i should keep trying to RC in my dreams and hope I get success or maybe I should try a WILD, i have never had control in a dream ever so i am just wondering how i should start?

Thats exactly the same as me, i'm starting to think its just something that happens to all beginners. Im also debating on trying a WILD too. GOOD LUCK!

Hey. Uhmmm. Lucid dreams are lucid dreams whether you have control or not. All I do is RC during the day and get lucky and do one in a dream. Dreams vary, sometimes I feel like I am just going along for the ride and sometimes I feel like I am in complete control. It takes practice. WILDs are way harder for me so I just try and DILD a lot. WILDs don't always give you control. The same thing could happen in a WILD. Keep trying with the DILD.

are you saying that you just don't RC in your dreams, or that you do and nothing changes? I'm guessing it's the first, if that is the case then just keep at it. Make sure you are doing plenty of RCs durig the day. And some advice: don't let it become routine, to where you are just going through the motions. You have to seriously question if you are dremaing or not. If you suspect you aren't, prove it to yourself. Case in point: last night when I was dreaming, at one point I became a little unsure of my situation. I did a few RCs, but I wasn't really thinking too hard about weather or not I was dreaming, resulting in the RCs failing and me remaining non-lucid

in other words, just keep at it and it will pay off eventually.

I've tried to RC during Waking Life but, how exactly do you do this? Like I thought checking my phone or a device would work but I do that everyday anyways.
