      Red face Lucidly New

Hello, everyone. I thought that it would be a good idea to join the forum and delve further into the lucid dream world I’m trying to join. I’ve been interested in lucid dreaming for a long time now, but they only pop up once in a while, and most often when I’m not aiming for them. I’ve had my first, I remember, outside, and I am certain I had a second one, but I can’t remember it. They only last a second or two before I wake up or I loose awareness. Sometimes I feel like I’m near lucidity and I loose it.

I once went to bed in the early evening, woke up in the first few hours of the morning, and spent an hour or two awake. When I went back to bed, I drifted into an image. It was unclear at first, but it all sharpened out, and I was fully aware of it for the first second or two. In fact, I think I was slightly curious about why everything was becoming so realistic. I actually don’t recall much of that particular dream, but I think it involved a shop and a clock (?).

Hi welcome to the forum ... seems you have at least some talent for lucid dreaming since you already had one or two, so that should encourage you to put some serious effort in it. The waking up in the morning and then sleeping again is a common technique by the way, called "waking back to bed". It is usually combined with either MILD or WILD, and to my experience very effective. Go search the forum for more info, its all over. Or wait till someone else replies here with a speech and some links . Good luck anyway!

Thank you for the welcome. I hope that by discussing lucid dreaming before bed, I could help to induce the lucid state. On a side note, I remember spinning once, in a lucid dream, and it helped momentarily to extend the dream time. Reading over some of the website paragraphs reminded me of this.
