Woken up again! by "something else"

      Hi all,
I am not new to lucid dreaming though new here and probably new to a lot of the art and science. I've had at least ten to twenty that that I can think of without much effort in the last six months. In fact that's what got me here!
      (Glad to be here too.)

So...In my last LD...this morning, i had a typical thing happen. I was having a great time (even better than usual, being very experiemtal in certain things) and i began hearing things. I am used to auditory hallucinations... so know to ignore or at least "suspect" that they may not be real.

I have had people try to wake me up and am on the alert for them too! So i mentally prepared to say, "What do you want?" or "sure, let's go on an adventure" and stay in my LD.

But today, i was in a dark room and i heard these noises - ok - i knew to ignore them. Standard subtle dream hallucination noises. But then the bed started shaking. I was in a dark room and couldn't see. The movement started to distract me.

I have never been MOVED before physically in an LD without seeing my mover. i have also been torn to shreds and exploded, etc, but that was from inside me. this was from outside.

So i (in my LD) ripped off my blindfold and came out of a very deep place because i was a little weirded out that someone had climbed into bed with me.

So of course when i did all this... i realized i had be "had" and there was no one there. All i could think was, "this is a new one. I have never been "moved" before without seeing my mover. I understand sounds and lights - oh yes... and visions. And flying when i am at the helm. etc.
      Any comments? Is this common?

hmmm... I am trying to think of an elegant LD response but haven't gotten one so far. It was a little weird to feel blindfolded and having someone possibly crawling into a bouncy bed with me!

Sometimes i think my dreams know my edge and find a way to be one step ahead of me!

      thanks,
      bg...

Its not uncommon, at least not to me. I have been moving around my bed on several occasions during LD's, especially during WILD episodes or after 1/2 waking from a LD. Once I was being dragged down towards the end of my bed and I really felt my body dragging over the bed, but there did not seem to come any end to my bed as the experience continued for around 20-30 seconds or so. So yeah dont worry, you're not insane (or we both are) ...

thanks, Xetrov. I am learning how to deal with my "distractors", one by one, time by time.
next time, i'll just ignore it.
(ltaking my chances it isn't a REAL earthquake or stranger!)

I always get people trying to wake me up, too. Sometimes it will be someone familiar, and other times, just a "force." It is easy to say you won't be fooled again, but when it happens it always feels so damn real.

You can do that, or just have some fun with it, I find it usually pretty cool when it happens...

Hi, just a few minutes ago I had a similar experience. I was having a LD and then I woke up but I couldn't move, I started to feel a hand dragging my left foot to the side and then upwards... It had been months since my last sleep paralysis experience. I didn't freak out because I had already read that hallucinations are common under this circumstances.

sorry if it's hard to understand, english is not my first language.
