      Wink Hello to all DreamViewers!

Hey to all on this forum!

My name is Phyle, I live in Belgium and am into lucid dreaming for about 15 years now. Well, actively...because I think as a kid I LD'd. When I was very young, I remember that I invented this technique to wake myself up from scary dreams. In those dreams I tried to open up my eyes wide open and in 'reality' my physical eyes also opened up then and I woke myself up

Now I have a LD once in a while. Sometimes my dream recall isn't that great. At other times it is too much. I keep a dream journal and write down to 4 dreams a night. Most of the time 1 or 2. I'd say 2 on average. Some nights none at all.
I guess my dream recall is low at times when I'm not well rested and maybe stressed and such. Or when I didn't eat too healthy...

My goal is to obtain the skill to LD at will. I'm not there yet at all...
My personal record is having 2 LDs in 1 night. But couldn't hold those for too long...
The best LD i had was in november 2008. I could hold it very easily, about 20-30 minutes. Great control, almost full lucidity.
(I hadn't tried to get a LD for a while then and totally forgot about it, but it just comes and goes I guess...)

My current obstacles are maintaining my focus (and calm) and not get overexcited.
Sometimes my lucid dreams transform into normal dreams too. And I think there are many LDs that are not remembered.

So that was my short introduction and I hope to learn something here and maybe contribute something to you guys too!

      OK, cya guys!
      Happy Dreaming!!

It can take a long time to master lucid dreaming for some people, but for others it doesnt take long at all. It depends on how devoted you are. You could be one that only takes a few days to master it, but dont be surprised if it takes a long time.

Once you have your first Lucid Dream, you will truly know how amazing it is

Welcome to Dreamviews! My goal is also, to learn to LD at will (every night). Since you have had some experience with LDing I believe that you won't have to much trouble getting the hang of it. Remember to stay confident and don't get discouraged! Good LUck to you!
