Unhappy Hi, i'm Domino; I'm new here. Loaded with questions. XD

      So i dream very vividly.
i have had few, but intense lucid dreams.
i recently, last night, was practicing lucid dreaming.
      i fell into myself.
i woke up after an REM session and completely remembered my dream.
      it wasn't a lucid dream.
i quickly fell back into sleep.
i told myself that i wanted to lucid dream.
i fell asleep and soon realized i was dreaming.

i was still in my bed and in my bedroom,
      i tried to speak.
      i couldn't.
my lower jaw gave a vibration.
i've had this feeling several times before when i realize i'm dreaming.
i am never able to speak...
      has anyone had that problem?

the entire dream i knew i was dreaming.
i was able to make the person i wanted to appear in the bed next to me.
      but i could not speak.

i am never able to speak.
      i do not get it.

      i woke up suddenly.
      more than likely too excited.

also i have a picture that lies over my bed.
i was repeating in my head.
      "i am dreaming."
the picture is of angelina jolie.
she was shaking her head no.

      i awoke in my dream.
and realized i was dreaming again.

i spooned with the "person" next to me and suddenly awoke.

      idk...

I guess i just want to know, has anyone lucid dreamt and not been able to speak, every time, or often?; and how i can overcome this?

Welcome to DreamViews! This may be the problem. At some point (probably your first lucid) you still had a slight connection to your actual body and this can cause instability. Its possible that you couldn't speak because of this. In every other lucid you have had afterwards you remembered not being able to speak and doubted your ability to speak. This could have made it impossible for you to speak. If you have any doubts on your ability to speak than you won't be able to.

You can simply try some positive reinforcement, think, "I know I can speak. It is easy to speak in a lucid." If that doesn't work you can try using telepathy to speak. You could try swallowing a "speaking" pill, You could pretend your voice is hoarse and take a drink of something to allow you to speak. Just try some creative things. You will be surprised at what can work for you.
