Smile Reality check technique? #2 =)

I have heard that rubbing my hands in a lucid dream would make me more aware of that I am dreaming. So if I sometimes during the day rubb my hands and really visualise myself become more lucid, and then in a dream when I do it I become lucid automatically! =) What do you think of this ?

Sounds like good practice to me

Perhaps you should combine this with a RC too? maybe pinch your nose then rub your hands?

Might, but the reason it makes you more lucid is because it increases your vividity, because you're adding more tactile senses to your dream.

I would just be sure to combine it with another technique (or two, or three). Try pinching your nose shut and inhaling...if you can breathe through your nose, you're lucid. Also, look at your hands and see if you have the correct number of digits. Also, try putting one finger through the palm of your hand. Also, try looking at a digital watch/body of text to see if it changes. It would be good to get in the habit of rubbing your hands together, though. That way, you'd be more likely to remember it in a dream. On it's own, though, I don't think it would make you lucid, but I could be wrong.

Good luck, and keep us posted!
