Thread: My Introduction

I've recently been extremely interested in becoming lucid in my dreams. I've been from forum to forum looking for practical advice and a helping hand. Although the chat here isn't very helpful when it comes to questions that don't include the latest internet "meme's", I believe this is a strong community for me to grow roots in.

Occupation: Senior in high school (early graduate)

In all of my life, I've only had 1 lucid dream. It was completely random but i remember parts of it. (i forgot to write it down). When I woke up i was so relieved that this skill isn't bullshit. I tried to talk to friends and family about it. But it never really interests them. That's another reason why i'm here. I wish to grow in my new found skill, and i think I've found the place.

I don't know what "meme's" are, but the chat actually can be quite useful for discussing lucid dreaming if you get it at the right time. Also, make sure you're talking in the lucid dreaming room. People there should be happy to answer your questions and/or link you to useful information.

Rather than ask questions right off the bat, I'd recomment reading the tutorials, and the general description of lucid dreaming that can be found on the main site. That way members won't be answering your questions by just summarizing the information found on this site. The tutorials can be found here:

Those should answer the majority of your questions. But feel free to post your questions here, we'll be glad to help.
