Thread: Can you trip in a dream?

I can't see why it's not possible. In theory, you should be able to find a rock, bump into it, and trip. The impact of landing, however, may wake some more inexperienced LDers. I think it would be fun to turn yourself into rubber, and just keep leaning to one side ever so slowly until you fall over and bounce right back. Repeat.

I am asking this because I have a natural friend who says he cannot trip in his dreams/ld's.

I've tripped up trying to climb over things or flying out of windows in LDs a few times, and sometimes I've felt a pretty realistic feeling impact when I hit the ground. I've never tripped just walking or running, but I'm sure it's possible

I've tripped trying to go up a hill before. I think I might have tripped whenever something is chasing me too.

I rarely move around using my feet in a dream so I've never tripped. Read the How Dreams are created tutorial in the tutorial section below. Things in dreams happen because you expect them, so I guess if you expect to trip, you will.

Is it possible to get a dice to work properly in a lucid: I mean, get a truly random result?

I have fallen over in dreams before, but more often stubled blindly around.
