Was my WILD working, or am I imagining things?

I woke up at about the same time I always wake up this morning, but I just moved around a bit and tried to relax...

Eventually I went into some very strange, ludicrous deep thinking. Something about a pool, but it was some REALLY deep thinking.. almost like I wasent even there.

After about 15 I came out of the 'deep thinking' and decided "Ahh, what the hell. May as well try I WILD seeing as I've been here for a while"

Eventually, I started feeling tingles and started seeing colors.

But I could still move, I didint actually try until about 2 minutes after that started happening, but I could feel everything.

So was I imagining things... or was I entering sleep paralysis... was I on sleep paralysis and didint notice it... or something else?

Well it sounds to me like you were in the early stages of a WILD technique and you made a bit of progress, but if you could easily move I don't think you were in SP yet. If you wouldn't have moved you probably would have hit SP shortly after the deep thought and the tingles. Nice progress though!

I know what you mean about the ludicrous deep thinking. I will catch myself doing that sometimes. That is the state you want to be in when you WILD. Those weird thoughts can take on a life of their own, and eventually turn into little dreamlets. You're doing something right. Keep it up, and you should have a successful WILD in no time. Don't worry too much about sleep paralysis. Try to forget about your body and concentrate on your thoughts, state of mind, and the images you are seeing.
