      I think WILD worked, kinda

So, I woke up at about 5:15 this morning, and decided to stay awake for 5 minutes and then give WILD a shot. It was at around 7:00 that I started feeling sleep paralysis, and then I started losing consciousness. Then I was dreaming, I was actually kind of selecting my dream and decided to appear in a bed, lying down. I knew I was dreaming but I didn't want to stand up because I was scared I would stand up in real life (silly huh) and wake up. Then I had a false awakening and eventually woke up. It was kinda frustrating, not kinda, REALLY frustrating because I feel I could actually have stood up when I had the chance in my lucid dream and have a nice lucid dream.
Any advises for next time ?

      Welcome to Dreamviews, Andres!

If you're new to doing WILDs, I think you did a great job. You got to the point of the dream, but it seems you weren't able to get up out of bed in it for fear that your real body would move and wake up, yes?

So next time, when you WILD, after you've hit SP for a while, begin to imagine yourself standing across the room instead of being in bed. That way you won't get too confused about where you are and whether your real body will move. It may take a little while to successfully visualize it, but you should jump right into it eventually. If you begin to really see the wall in front of you or the door, try touching them or the furniture to stabilize the dream.

WILD does take some practice, so I think it's important for you to view this as a success. As long as you keep trying, you will have those WILDs.
