New to this but old to Lucid dreaming!

Hi, I've been aware of the difference between dreams and reality since very young. I'm now 40 and still able to have this ability; not at the time and not sure what triggers it but the functionality is still there.

Recently (about the last 2 years) I've noticed I'm able to be wide awake but to recall insignificant dreams from years ago and to be able to roll from dream to dream randomly. I say from years ago but its difficult to say exactly how old dreams are but the ones I can recall are easily 5 years + old. This is more prevalent in the evening as I find it only comes in a relaxed environment.

I'm curious to know if you have any techniques or memory excercises to own such fantastic dream recall, or if it is just natural to you.
