Thread: Strange Dream

Hi guys, I'm really new to lucid dreaming and have only just recently started trying it (about 3 days ago). I've been keeping a dream journal and today I had a strange dream I thought I'd post and maybe get some help with.

Heres the journal entry:
Had this dream on the car ride back from Troy while listening to my ipod. There were cartoonish wii-like characters singing the song I was listening to on a stage in the middle of the ocean. From the beginning of the dream there were cartoon planes floating in the water on either side of the stage. After awhile I found that I could control the planes, and I made them fly around above the stage. Then I made the planes dive into the water, and when they came back up they had morphed in killer whales. This dream was not lucid, and I attributed my control to it being a video game or something.

So what I'm wondering is what kind of dream was this? While dreaming, I was not lucid but I still had the ability to control the planes. I didn't know dream control was possible without lucidity before this dream. Thanks for the help
