      Questions about DEILD

I'm trying to have a DEILD for the last few days, but failed. So I started searching for some info, I read that you could set your alarm 15 mintutes before you usually awake from your dream, than you could tell yourself to lay still when you awake and have a better chance for having a DEILD. It sounds good, but I thought if you wake yourself only 15 minutes before it than you'll probably sleep long past that time, so it wouldn't work. Does anyone have experience with having DEILD's and is this an effective way?

it's very hard to predict when you'll wake up, however I set my alarm for about 3 hours after the time that I go to sleep- this gives me more 'chances' to become lucid

also 3 days is not a long time- become familiar with your dreams, keep a dream journal for a while and continue trying DILD/MILD
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
      TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
