Back at dreamviews,my last visit was02-21-2006...yes its been a while.

Not that i havent dreamt since then but,as ive mentioned before pot and dreams do not mix well, soooo i quit smoking both pot and cigs 2 weeks ago after a little bout with the flu and im back in the dreamworld.

Last Lucid Dream I had was when I was in Mexico. Spent the whole night flying around Pyramids and decided to take it underwater,i havvent heard of 2 many people doing that (note to scuba divers),maybe its not as popular as flying lol

looking forward to dreaming every night again....

Well, it is good to have you back then. Hopefully you stick around. That sounds like a trippy dream. Yeah, swimming isn't as popular as flying. But I have done it before and it can be pretty fun.

I have methods to counter this

Welcome back to Dreamviews! Its unfortunate you had to quit smoking. I smoke daily and have good recall, but it takes a bit of work/discipline at first. Yeah, going under water during LDs is bad ass. Breathing underwater is a sweet feeling. Well good luck to you and I hope you enjoy your stay the second time around!

Thanks for the welcome,I might have to find out what you countermeasures are.

I do not plan on smoking tobacco products but will surely enjoy a smoke now and again but not for a while as i have absolutely zero dream recall when i do.

Going to read your WILDind technique,i think i have a knack for that and its happened by accident often just moments after closing my eyes. This would be a good start wouldnt you say?

For now i can set my clock to my rem period to 90 minutes and i recall at least 3 a night

back. Pot can be detrimental to your dreams if done chronically, but every once in a while doesn't hurt, I've had some really wild dreams when high.

I didn't know you were a recreational smoker, ninja.

Anyway, some perscription drugs and othe meds help with lucidity, so I would hazard a guess that some narcotics could help LDing while others could hurt it.

I would say shrooms would be ideal since your practically in a lucid state while awake.i dont remember falling asleep on them but im sure if you were to lay down and try Wilding or manage to sleep it would be a step in the right direction as far as LDing.

Im not recomending this to someone who hasnt already done them...
fly[/] go into space[/] land on the moon[ ] (couldnt find it) land on pyramids[/] go underwater[/]
      meet my wife[ ]

when the full realization that I am dreaming washes

over me its like the gift of a superpower or a new world where anything is possible
