I am 44 and new to this!

I have had some LD's in the past but never gave them much thought but after having two or three of them in close succession, they started to fascinate me. I didnt understand them and never dreamt I could control and change things! That is my goal for the next one...Just to be aware and take it all in and try to manipulate them.

The recent one that is most vivid is I am being chased by some monster, I cant recall what it looked like but I came to these big red steel doors and heard the monster attempting to bust through.....thats when I realized i was dreaming and knew I was in my bed. I thought wtf, I know I am safe, let me have fun with it so I smashed down the big red steel doors and went looking for it. I was in something like a warehouse. I just started smashing everything and looking everywhere to find the monster. I destroyed the room and then everything faded and I woke up! But it was so fun being able to do that. I would have never imagined I could will my self to fly or morph myself....I cant wait for my next one!

Welcome to DV! And congrats on taking control of your dreams.

A lot of people get their spontaneous lucid dreams when they are being chased or in a nightmare, just like you. There is no limit to things you can do in your dreams.

For dream control, check out the dream control tutorial: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=67107

If you have any questions about lucid dreaming or dreams in general, just ask.

Thanks for the advice! I think I had 3 dreams last night but I awoke as soon as I became lucid on at least a couple. One of them I was walking in a line with a bunch of people it might have been a teacher walking us. It was weird. But then it turned into war scene and an enemy soldier was pointing a machine gun at me ready to shoot. I was scared became lucid but woke up immediately afterwards.
The other dream, we had a tenant who lived in a little red house that actually he burned down in the 1990's. Anyway, he came back to live in it, never crossed my mind it wasnt there anymore. All of a sudden, I see him moving in and he had people helping him. I asked him what he is doing and he said he was moving back. I said you cant and it became an arguement and told him I was going to call the police. He said go ahead and I started swearing at him then I woke up without being lucid. But the funny thing is I was looking at him and he looked different but I figured it was because I hadnt seen him in years. He would be abou 110 years old now. very strange.

to DV. Monsters are fun when you're lucid, you can torture the monsters who have tortured you in the past

I have never heard of lucid dreaming before, but always do it.. it just comes natural, I had one last night and beat someone up. Controlling my dreams is just the beginning, have you seen threw your eyelids or left your body yet?

      its pretty far out
