      Motivation...

      Hi Guys,
Not really a newbie to the forums but not been on much, just occasionly lurk ect.
i love everything about dreams/lucid dreams and everything that surrounds it,but im struggling with motivation to follow a proper routine/technique,like i dont even keep a dream journal so my recall isnt great, not done much in recognizing dream signs ect
iv had a few lucid dreams, mainly just random, although i do go to bed thinking about lucids most nights.feel like i need to start at the begining but need some help.

The first step would be to actually start a dream journal. This will help you a lot in dream recall and is a big step towards lucid dreaming.

Next I would look at the tutorials on the site, and find a technique that you like. Once you find one, practice that for a while. If you feel like that technique will not work, try a different one. I would suggest starting with DILD or MILD as these are the easiest and require the least effort. I am not saying don't try WILD though, as some have said that WILD is easier than MILD/DILD.

      Good luck!

      Conzo's correct.

Dream journaling is always the first step. If you find yourself having trouble with recall, you can set your alarm to go off a few hours before you normally wake up. Usually this will result in a vivid memory of a dream, but be quick to jot it down, they fade fast.

Once you've gotten back in the groove of recalling a dream or 2+ a night, you'll probably feel interested enough to begin doing some reality checks and will see some results.

      Good luck, happy, concious dreams.

Check out my lucid dream journal. Usually reading someone else's fun time smotivates you to try and match their feats, or top them
