      first recall

      ok so hi everyone,
last night while researching how i can increase my frequency of dreams, after finding this sight i realised it is just that i cannot remember them...
last night i tried to remember my dream/dreams...
to my suprise i seemed to remember more than i thought i would on my first try.
howeve my dream was still very hazy and i cannot remember places so well, i can just kind of tell what sort of surrounding i am in, in this example a school.

although, my main question here is about the fact that when i dream, or at least the dreams i can remember seem to take place directly before i wake up... this can be helpfull in remembering, but if(as i was this morning) i am woken by someone else, can this interupt a dream. also is this particularly normal...

      any help would be good...

I found it hard to remember my dreams, I still do, but I have found that I used to have a certain alarm that woke me very suddenly, as well as it got very loud so I had to get up and turn it off, so I changed my alarm to one where it increases in volume to wake me up slowly, as well as it doesn't get very loud, so if you have an alarm that you think may be the problem, then try another one.
The main thing is to not move upon awakening, if you do your mind forgets your dream, Hope This Helps

I would suggest keeping a Dream Journal. When you wake up from a dream (or anytime in the night after having a dream), write down as much as you can remember. I've found that I usually wake up after a dream, so I keep my eyes closed and think about the dream to solidify it more and then write it down (however, I've fallen back asleep before by accident, and then only remember a few vague things in the morning )

I've found that I will write down dreams, and then when I wake up to actually start my day, sometimes I will barely remember the dream, or sometimes not remember it at all

I also just made a thread in the Research forum about beverages you can drink before bed that can increase dream numbers and recall. I suggest you try it (you seem perfect as a new person with little experiance [I'm just saying it'll help for the demographics]) and participate in the experiment
