      Question A few questions....

      I'm new here and I was wondering what the following abbreviations mean

      FIELD
      EILD
      DC
      RC
      DJ

      to dreamviews. I just joined a few days ago myself and have found alot of information in the tutorials section found here
      In the tutorial section, the description for EILD:
      EILD can stand for both externally induced lucid dream or electrically induced lucid dream. Originally it was 'electrically', however the device does not have to be electrical. During sleep your senses still monitor the outside world. If they didn't you would be unable to wake up from an alarm clock.
      DC stands for dream character(a character in your dream obviously...)

      RC stands for Reality Check(one is two plug your nose and see if you can breath in...if you can you are dreaming)

      DJ stands for dream journal(where you record your dreams...)

      I don't know what FIELD stands for though...maybe someone else can answer that.

      Once again...there are tutorials for keeping a dream journal, doing reality checks, one for doing EILD, and alot more.

      Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think FIELD exists. I've never heard of it anyway. Maybe you can post a link where you found it?

      I think you mean FILD, which is Finger-Induced-Lucid-Dream. If there is something called FIELD, it is 2 things. One; not proven to work, and two; something really random.

      All those abbreviations floating about are sure to give me a headace someday. Ironically, the terminology in this field only becomes more perplexing once abbreviated. Perhaps I'm a shade dim.
