Can someone explain more about dreamsigns for me from what I understand they are things that happen in dreams that would make u click that its a dream for example in every dream u have there is always a dancing chicken then u be like wait this is a dream but anyway I've read through my dream journal (which is quite long cause I kept it even when I wasn't trying to learn to lucid dream) and I can't find a dream sign So does anyone else have this problem is there a way around it Cheers

A dream sign doesn't need to be unique to you, there could be someone you know who is acting different in your dream or you would do something you normally wouldn't (I stole my dad's car then becan lucid) it can be anything that you wouldn't expect in real life

If you keep flying and you know you cant do this in real life or something else, and when ever you see it or you always see it in a dream, you can become lucid. Signs to make you lucid or not i suppose.

Any repeated themes that show up in your dreams can be dream signs. Your dancing chicken example is definitely a dream sign, but more subtle things can also be dream signs too. The key is that they're clearly different from your waking life. If someone who's been out of college for years dreams they're back in school, that's a dream sign, even if the dream is rather unremarkable otherwise. They don't have to show up in every dream, or even most dreams, just every so often.

Truthfully before I go to bed I tell myself this... 'If I am somewhere other than this bed, I am dreaming'-Doesn't work very well though.
