Can someone please tell me what a Dream Guide is??

That kind of depends on what you mean by DreamGuide. Dream guides on dreamviews are part of staff that have authority in the On-Topic forums. Their names are colored in Green with 3 stars beneath their name (excluding Ninja who has 4). Their jobs are to welcome new members and make an effort to keep dreamviews organized and friendly. They seem to be pretty knowledgable so you can feel free to ask them questions. Also I heard, (not sure if this is true) that dream guides are a person in your dream that guides you through everything. You ask them questions and such and they follow you around. I haven't heard the term used in this way in a long time so don't count on it. I hope this helps. Welcome to the community btw,

yea, I've read that and trust me, it leaves almost no question unanswered. but the quick explanation is a very special dream character. still, I advise reading it in its entirety if you haven't yet.

Then I think I might have found my dream guide a long time ago but I'm not sure because I had a dream that I my little brother died and I was sitting at a steak and shake bar and some lady behind the bar says "Thank God this is only a dream" so after that I became Lucid for the rest of the dream... after that I talked to some guy that was sitting down in the next room who was talking to me about a lot of other stuff.. I have to get out my dream journal to see what he said, but would my dream guide be one of those people?

If it helps... the experiences I've had with my dream guide always seem very teacher/student. Whenever she's in a dream with me, it's not a typical dream. There's no plot, however there is always very vivid scenery. I am constantly lucid the whole dream, and there's no struggle to keep it stable, however I also have no control. My lucidity level is just that I know it's a dream as it's happening. I can hear her, but I've never seen her. I have a very strong feeling that she is also my spirit guide (guardian angel, whatever you want to call them). She is quite often trying to show me things. When I was younger, I was trying to get into the world of communicating with spirits. I managed to contact my guide through meditation, and found out her name (this was later confirmed by a clairvoyant... skeptics can take this for what you will, but she ended years of constant sanity-questioning on my end!). I told her I didn't feel I would be able to handle seeing ghosts or experiencing something physical (like a swinging door or moving object). I could really only handle the mental impressions I got of messages, and the fact that I can feel their presence. So, generally, in these dreams, she often guides me around a haunted house and shows me the things I'm afraid to experience in real life. Notably, in one such dream, there was a spirit staring out a window; a girl in Victorian style clothing in a nice house. She was slightly transparent and she looked at me. Her eye colour was yellowish. I remember my heart was pounding so hard and I could hear my guide reassuring me. She said that this spirit wasn't harmful. She would definitely not do anything to cause me fear. The spirit smiled at me, but then continued to look out the window again.
