Thread: Sleep Paralysis Transition?

Alright, I've experience this about 3 times now:
I'm dreaming, I become lucid (DILD), get too exited and wake up, however when I wake up I'm in sleep paralysis and I try to transition it into a lucid dream, but fail to do so, well I was successful once but that was a while ago.
Also, I'm not sure if I'm actually awake in SP, or if It was a FA and In the dream I'm in SP.

Question 1: how exactly do you transition your SP into a dream? is it the same as DEILD, where you just think about the dream, or is there an extra step?

Question 2: might it be just a false awakening? have you guys experienced that, not being able to distinguish between FA in SP, and actual awakening in SP?

Yup. The other day. I still haven't figured out what happened. I believe I'm reading to much about SP and I actually dreamt it (i.e. FA).

Well, I think same thing is happening to me. Last week I became lucid in a dream and had a FA in which i was in SP. I told to myself "I'll levitate" and I levitated, but still couldn't move, so I said "SP will go away" and then I was able to move and my LD started .

Yah i would think before doing a reality check by moving you should try to float up or through your bed before trying to get a WILD.
