Well yeah but with regular sleep itches usually just cause me to scratch them and roll over or something into a different position but I can't do that with WILD of course...

Actually, I find that not wearing a shirt makes me itch less. Maybe it's the shirt though It's worth a shot I guess...but what I personally have to do is just ignore the itch and forget that I'm itching. If you think about it for a second you'll itch. Heck, you're probably starting to itch just reading me talk about itching!
You might want to try practicing this without WILDing or anything...just whenever you normal-rest and the itches come, ignore them and focus on something else. That way it won't be a problem when it gets down to business. You will probably still feel slight itches, but they won't bother you if you learn to ignore them, so the problem is still solved.
I'm just saying what I did for me...so this is what I've found to work, hope it works for you, but just because everyone's different...it may not
