      Waking up too early :(

I've been into lucid dreaming since September, this year, and I've been able to become lucid 14 times already. However, of these 14 LD's, only 4 of them were kinda long, the other 10 was basically "Dreaming, Becoming Lucid, Waking up right away", it is very frustrating.
I know you are supposed to spin around and rub your hands, but I usually forget to, or I am scared that if I do so I will wake up (ironic huh?)

      Any suggestions?

Do you reality check throughout the day?

I found that pairing a stabilizing technique (such as rubbing my hands together) with a reality check helped me remember.

The other thing is... I actually rub my hands together a lot. So, once I came here, it just started clicking in my head. I would start rubbing my hands together and it'd make me think, "Oh, this is a stabilizing technique."

The next time I was lucid and needed to stop a dream from fading out, I remembered to do it, and it worked.

At what time do you have your LDs? Could it be something in the environment waking you up or making you sleep lighter? Perhaps morning trasffic or people moving about the house getting ready for the day?
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...
