First of all, Happy New Year to everyone.
I found out only today, while watching a movie about dreams, that understanding you are in a dream while dreaming has a special name and is actually a technique. Then I found this web page and read all the theoretical pages and I am very eager to start drying to control my dreams.
I see a lot of dreams. Usually I always remember at least one dream per night. Very rarely I dont remember anything from the night (once after every some months or so). Then I am usually very tired and have been sleeping the whole night. More usually I wake up several times during the night.
Quite often when I am escaping from someone in my dream I realize that it must be a dream (because otherwise things could not be that bad) and then I wake myself up by pinching myself or lately I tend to jump of from a high building. Or sometimes in a dream when I am about to fell from somewhere I realize as well, that it must a dream and its okey to fell as I will just wake up and everything is okey. All those things always happen just before I wake up, because obviously waking up in a dream has worked.
Once, when I was still a teenager (now I am 27) I had a dream where I realized I am dreaming but as well I was able (or more like aware) that I could do what ever I want because its just a dream. It lasted only some seconds, in a measure of dream time, but it was nice. I am amazed that all those things happened just in my head without me wanting it or forcing myself to do it.
Sweet dreams to all of us,
Sinope
