This is my first time here. I recently became interested in lucid dreaming after watching the film "Waking Life". If you guys haven't seen it, what are you waiting for? lol. I love that film!
At any rate I've been trying to lucid dream for the past couple of weeks. I haven't been successful yet, but my dreams are a lot more vivid after trying to lucid dream. As I understand, text is somewhat unstable in dreams, and if you see text floating around in your dreams, it should be a good indication that you're dreaming. I wrote my phone number after meeting an investor named Jim Rogers, and I couldn't seem to write my phone number properly because the numbers were blurry and out of focus in a weird way.
I've also asked myself in my dream if I'm dreaming, After asking myself I thought about the film "Waking Life" and concluded that it would be too ironic to think about a film about dreams in a dream, thus I dismissed the possibility of it being a dream.
Kinda weird huh? I guess I'm on the right track but still having a little bit of trouble.
Anyways, I look forward to lucid dreaming and getting to know some of you on this site. It looks pretty cool.
