Question Hi, i am a new guy :)

I have been reading about lucid dreaming in DreamViews for several days, so i have registered

I am having trouble with several things, including how to have a WILD.

I have tried the WBTB technique for WILDing and napping and i STILL cant get into SP.

I sit there for hours laying still and sometimes I see swirly circles in my eyes, and I keep thinking its just my imagination, I am not anywhere near SP... I think so negative!!!

Also, I have trouble with dream recall, i have only recorded 2 dreams in the 5 days i have had a DJ.

I have had one LD so far, on my first day of reading about LD's but i woke myself up....

Well you came to the right place

Have you checked out our Tutorials section? It's pretty well organized so I think you shouldn't have a problem.

So it sounds like you may be doing this too early. WILD's are usually ment to be done within a certain amount of time after waking up. How are you doing this?

Oh and welcome to the Community

Well I have read the tutorials over and over lol, maybe WILDing is just not for me.

My first and only lucid was a DILD - no RC just realised "hey this doesnt look real... im dreaming!" and unfortunately it was at the end of the dream so was only lucid for about 2 seconds, and i tried dreamspinning but it didnt work

I tried some quizzes and they said I was recommended to try and do MILD's which i have no clue about..

And also, I came from avatar-forums.com like a lot of newcomers...
Wish me luck on getting my next lucid!

Don't worry about it. Getting lucid for the first time for most people ends right after they find out they're dreaming.

      Just keep practicing.

my non-lucid was a very nice recall (recalled most of it, not just a little bit) and vivid
Wish me luck on getting my next lucid!
