Thread: Getting frustrated

I've had Lucid Dreams but I totally botched them. The day I put this post up I had an extremely vivid dream (Felt like real life) and I woke up and my room light was on, and I reached over and grabbed my book I recently bought and it had a "4" on the cover.. I thought "Wow.. I didn't know this was a series..." and went back to sleep. My mind pulled such an ass move.

Heh, first three lucid dreams were like that, because I didn't read up on how to stabilize a dream after getting into it. I just wanted to get into it to see what I needed to do for my specific dreams to keep them stabilized. Learned a bit on stabilizing, then went back and was able to have a prolonged lucid dream thereafter.

Alright, so I think I am making progress. Last night I had ANOTHER dream in which guns were involved. I figure this is my dreamsign and started doing reality checks whenever I see them on the internet or in a game. In my dream I picked up an gun and then stopped.. looked at it and asked myself "Wtf is this?" and then went "Oh. It's an AR15." and continued. I think I am starting to become a little more aware in my dreams. =)

Great! Been keeping a dream journal as well as RCing whenever you see a dream sign in real life? You're making progress I'd say, just keep with it. And don't forget the whole thing about getting lots of sleep, and then getting extra sleep on top of that - that'll ensure your consciousness is somewhat intact when you're in a dream, so when you see a gun you'll probably RC, and your conscious mind will kick in.
