      Suggestion for all noobs!

Read the book "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming" by Dr. Stephen LaBerge.
buy it for only $7 dollars from almost any book store or read it online.

It has so much information, and will answer all your questions and pretty much make you a better lucid dreamer.

Im in the middle of this book right now. I already know a lot about lucid dreaming, and this book has taught me so much more!

I would suggest it for anyone just starting lucid dreaming, anyone who has been trying for awhile with no results, and basically everyone else on this website, who hasn't read it already.

I wonder if my local library would have that. I am going to have to check next time I go there. (Not any time soon I imagine)

He means the link which, if it leads to an online copy, is not allowed. So you'll need to edit it out.

I was going to post somewhat of a dis-recommendation, but after checking out the PDF I see it is a different book than the one I have. I have "Lucid Dreaming" by LaBerge (only), I have been trying to get through it for years, though at half way through is is pretty interesting. It is however, laid out in a very dry and scholarly way. I only read it when I have to fly, to have an endless book to read as I sit in an airport for endless hours. Which I do infrequently, as I HATE to fly (on an airline) anymore. It is a great resource for someone who is a good, disciplined reader.
The book in the PDF, with a co-author, appears to be shorter and probably more readable.

I recommend The Lucid Dreamer, by Malcolm Godwin.

I read it, & great results three months later -Lucid Dreaming City for me.

But also credit to this great web site for keeping my focus on it.

Looks like the link is removed...just a note on book-jacking, ETWOLD is found in PDF format. A few well-placed keywords in Google will tell you all you need to know.

I beg to differ...I found the layout of the book to be quite engaging and entertaining to read. It is an invaluable guide to becoming lucid. And I see nothing wrong with approaching areas of controversy skeptically...there are other books for such areas as OBE's. Quietly protesting the 10 character limit.
