You definitely are. Appreciate the fantasy.

Fantasy is my favorite. I like fantasy and bits of romance in books. But, romance movies are lame. I also like action, and more fantasy (for the worlds)

This movie delivered all of those to me. The environment was amazing. They actually worked with expert biologists and such to design all their animals. using parts of real animals and working skeletal and muscle systems, ridiculous detail was in this movie. Everything has 6 limbs except for the na'vi, i never noticed until the third watch. haha.

I loved the film, but strangely, the environment didn't immediately grab me. I loved it, don't get me wrong. I remember being breathless at several moments when they were giving you wide views of the jungle. And the flying scenes blew my mind. I just can't seem to remember anything specific. I think it may have had something to do with the technical aspects of the 3-D. I felt like the 3-D kept drawing my eyes towards the characters, instead of letting them wander around the whole screen, taking in the scenery. I can't wait until it comes out on video, so I can rock the sketchbook and pause button.

I loved Avatar! I have to admit that the storyline wasn't particularly amazing or unique, but the world was awesome. The whole time I was mostly thinking, "oooh, shiny graphics!"

But yeah, it seems that they did put a lot of thought into the species. My friend's brother actually look notes on things like how many toes each type of animal has, and then he got into a discussion with her other brother about how one of them should have more than three toes because it would need more lateral support for running around on all those branches.
