      Hello Everyone, I'm very New to this!

      I just started my Lucid dream journal on Monday(Jan. 18)

      I haven't had a Lucid dream yet, but I'm not necessarily trying to either. I'm just working on dream recall and reality checks, so entering lucidity will be easy.

      Question: How come you are ill-advised to look in the mirror wilst in a lucid dream?

      Look in as many mirrors as you want. Just be prepared for some possible weirdness. Of course, if you make a point to consciously try to avoid mirrors, chances are you will keep dreaming of them anyways Just have fun with it and do what feels natural.

      I'd almost think mirrors would be great to RC too.

      For instance, I don't see myself in a mirror. I should have a reflection, why don't I? *Reality-check* Oh, that's why!

      I read that it could be frightening to look at your reflection. I don't want that!!!

      Whenever I'm having difficulties with recall, I repeat a mantra as I'm falling to sleep.

      "I will remember my dreams when I wake up."

      One thing that helped me was sleeping with an eye mask on. Sometimes the morning light buggers up my recall.

      Nice! About an hour ago I had a brief recall that came out of NOWHERE. I was replying to a thread and it just came to me mid-sentence, I have no clue why though, seeing as I couldn't remember a thing ever since I woke up.
