Haha. I've noticed that if your mind isn't calm its pretty hard to fall asleep or do anything other than talk in your head. Try just concentrating on your breathing and whatever thoughts or images pass through just let them try not to think about it too much. |

That's how I do almost all my lucid dreaming. I'm usually up around 6 AM to take the dog out and then go back to bed. I systematically relax myself and then start concentrating on the light show on my eyelids until it turns into a person or object, then into a dream. |
