Haha. I've noticed that if your mind isn't calm its pretty hard to fall asleep or do anything other than talk in your head. Try just concentrating on your breathing and whatever thoughts or images pass through just let them try not to think about it too much. |

That's how I do almost all my lucid dreaming. I'm usually up around 6 AM to take the dog out and then go back to bed. I systematically relax myself and then start concentrating on the light show on my eyelids until it turns into a person or object, then into a dream. |

"I awoke in bed, totally astounded, my heart pounding and head reeling. Never had I felt such intense feelings of elation, energy, and utter freedom. I had done it! ~Robert Waggoner on his first lucid dream
The amount of time it takes to induce sleep paralysis varies greatly. Its going to take a while but you've got to figure out the correct amount of time to stay awake before going back to sleep. Go to sleep too quick and you wont be lucid, wait too long and you cant go to sleep. Experiment. |

I've never had much success with WILD while first falling asleep. In this case, if you are going to take a nap... Then just take a nap. Fall asleep as if you weren't trying to induce a lucid dream. Set an alarm or somethign to wake you up in the middle of your sleep. Stay awake for a few minutes, hopefully you'll still be tired, and then begin trying to WILD. This is just works for me the best, but try it out. Good luck! |
