      Red face Um...hellou

      Hi all :]
So today I heard about lucid dreams for the very first time because one of my professors asked (or more like demanded us lol) to do research on the topic. I've been reading for hours about the topic and found this forum a few minutes ago :] I have trouble remembering my dreams and all my friends and family know this because it frustrates me to no end lol and I sometimes realize I'm dreaming but then wake up really fast after.

      Anyways...

      I'm totally hooked.

I really would like to try and be able to have lucid dreams so any tips are welcome ^.^

Oh and it would be nice if someone could recommend a good book on the topic since i love to read. I've seen a lot on the web but I don't know which ones are good so yeah.

Sorry about your dream bad luck.....

I'm new here also, but have had LD's forever. You can find a wealth of information right here, you may not need a book. Browse around and you'll find most anything you need to know.

      Welcome to Dreamviews!

You will find all the help you need here and as for a good book, I would recommend Stephen LaBerge's "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming". Good luck with the lucids.

This site has been quite helpful already

I've been LDing for many years and never knew that I could induce these dreams. I tried meditating last night, which is nothing new to me, but this time I induced lucidity into my dream like it was second nature. I also managed to stay lucid longer than usual, I stayed calm and focused on doing things slowly, but when I tried going to fast or changing dreams, I started fading. I considered it an extraordinary successful attempt at induction considering this my first attempt. I love this site and thanks to everyone that started it, it's just to bad I didn't have these resources available when I was in my teens. We had no internet in the 70's, life was hell.

      Thanx all ^.^

      And that's so awesome~
I wish they came naturally to me like that lol
I know if I payed more attention to my dreams I would remember them more often but I just wake up normally and don't think about them...unless they were very vivid then I go nuts telling everyone about it lol
      I should probably start a journal :/

And I'll make sure to check out that book <3
