How do you stop lucid dreaming?

Hi, I lucid dream all of the time but I have no control of the dream. To be honest I would just like to go back to normal dreaming but I can't. Any suggestions on how to?

I'm not sure if lucid dreaming is completely optional if you're someone who can naturally do it, but you can try autosuggestion. By that I mean, as you lie in bed to sleep, repeat to yourself, "I won't lucid dream" until you're sufficiently drowsy or actually fall asleep.

If you are naturally having these lucid dreams, it can be a problem. Learning to control them can be a huge benefit. For example, regardless of where you are finding yourself lucid, instead change the location to a tropical beach and have a pina colada and relax on a hammock and get a massage... (god that sounds good!)

There have been a few people in your situation though. Here's one of the big posts.
