      my first WILD attempt - FAILED

      well, i'm not that discouraged to try again next time, I only have some questions..

      is it possible to have a WILD before going to sleep?

      when i woke up in the morning, is it possible that the muscle pain i'm having in my left leg is a result of sleep paralysis?

      what's the very first sign that you're body is already asleep but you're mind is still conscious?

      Those are some interesting questions. The whole point of WILD is to do it before sleeping. However, to do it right as your going to the bed for the first time is possible but really difficult for you have to wait for it to kick in which is different for everyone. Some wait 20 minutes while others wait 2 hours. For me, WILD isn't worth it unless I perform a WBTB first.

      That sounds odd that you would have pain in your leg if it were to be from REM Atonia (paralysis during REM sleep. You only get sleep paralysis while awake). Your muscles are suppose to be relaxed and not tensed.

      I'm not sure how to answer that one. Would you mind explaining more what you mean?

      oh, never mind the last question.. haha

      hmm. i realized the muscle pain must be the result of my workout i did during the afternoon.

      i remember! my attempt must have failed when i did listening to a subliminial audio and WILD together. or wasnt it?

      Hey morbid73,

      I've been trying for a month now... not Wild, but mostly doing WBTBs and attempting DEILDs. Wild is a difficult way to attempt lucids... most people have a lot more success with WBTB and DEILD and similar things. But yeah, like louie54 said, even a Wild will work better if you WBTB.

      I had my first really decent lucid last night. After a month of trying. I did have one very brief one right near the beginning, but only lasted 3 seconds, so I don't really count it. And it was just barely lucid anyway. But now, after a solid month of trying, I finally had a good, long fairly full lucid.

      So don't give up hope buddy! Keep at it .It usually doesn't work the 1st time you try... you might have to try a few dozen times or more. But don[t give up. Stay motivated!

      thanks for the motivation! well, i'm not the type that will give up easily. if i want something, i'll do my best to get it! haha

      i've been trying to WILD and get into SP for about a year and a half now with no sucess, I did a WBTB last night and entered SP immediatly.

      Word of advice : Do a WBTB lul

      I think if you want to WILD before sleep, try WILDing before you nap. It works more effectively when you nap like maybe 2 to 8 hours after sleep. Try it.
