      A couple of questions

      1. Is it possible to start dreaming right after you fall asleep? I fell asleep in chemistry class today for 10 minutes, and I started dreaming (I think. I don't really remember now). Unfortunately, my chem teacher yelled for me to wake up and I did

      2. Do binaural beats and special brainwave music help induce lucid dreams? If so, what are some good ones for me to try?

      Thanks in advance.

It is not likely that you're having the typical deep REM sleep but more likely exaggerated hypnagogic imagery. This is similar to when you are trying to fall asleep and your mind drifts away eliciting random images to you. It is your brain slowly entering slow-wave sleep.

"A vibratory stimulus at a frequency of about 100 Hz was transmitted through a bone conductor on the mastoid in 26 profoundly deaf subjects. In all of them, the function of the vestibular apparatus was tested by means of the Fitzgerald-Hallpike caloric test. In some of the deaf subjects, evoked potentials were recorded, which following the frequency of the stimulus and which according to amplitude and latency characteristics, corresponded to the frequency following response (FFR). A close correlation was found between the normal function of the vestibular apparatus and the appearance of FFR in deaf subjects. The possible receptors of the stimulus and the afferent pathways which generate the recorded response are discussed."

You can also find a detailed article on the efficacy of binaural beats here:

However, I am really not sure where you can purchase one and it really depends on where you live. I will post one as soon as I come across one that I would support.

1.Sounds like hypnagogic imagery to me too, and some people when their day dreaming and thinking about something, they sometimes get pulled into the thought. like if you were thinking about riding about a bike you might for a second lose your sight of the real world and only see you riding a bike or feel the wind etc.

      2. I've tried a few and made a few, for me they make me feel weird and have never really worked, they say that if your brain is not that submissive then the beats take a lot of time to work but if your brain is submissive then it works fast.

Yes it is possible during your afternoon REM cycle. This happens when you take a nap, which is why it is possible to WILD. I'm guessing from the fact that you were in class that it might have been afternoon and you could have been in your afternoon REM cycle. That is, if you actually were asleep, and it wasn't hypnogogic imagery.
