Something that's worked for me so far is listening to binaural beats before I go to bed. It's a free app for the iPod touch, but if you don't have one you can download mp3 files online. Whenever I listen to them before bed I've been haveing gradulally better dream recall and it's really relaxing.

Other than that do what the tutorials Say and keep a dream journal by writing down the dreams that you can remember. I read somewhere that it's best not to move and to keep your eyes closed as you try to remember after waking up.

Yeah, he pretty much summed it up the best. Also keep in mind you are just writing down the important facts, and anything you may find "strange". You may only remeber bits of one dream at first, but your recall should increase each night.

Tips to help your dream recall:

try to wake and not open your eyes. Do not move and try to remain still.
Wake slowly and try to let your mind drift.
Try to latch on and remember one part of the dream, and this may trigger the rest of the pieces of the dream.

Try and write them down. Start a dream journal/ writing the dream memories down will help you to start off with recall. (actually some would say it is a must)
As you exercise your dream recall you will find your memory will improve.
The habit of writing down your dreams soon becomes a habit of recalling your dreams.

      Good luck.
