      A second try!

      Greetings!
I am a writer, and a couple of months ago I began to visit this forum, hoping to write a book about lucid dreaming. For a couple of reasons I wonŽt elaborate further on here I had to cut off from the internet for a while.
IŽve also reconsidered the book a bit, I think it would be better if I did it as a fictional story with information about Lucid dreaming between the chapters.

When it comes to lucid dreaming, IŽve managed to achieve lucidity about twenty times during my life, with about seven or so being over a minute in lenght.
Well, that is some info about me, hope IŽll be able to stay a bit longer this time around!

Hi there and welcome. Sounds interesting about your book. I would say that you should make it fictional. If you were to make a book about "how to" you would need a lot of experience on the subject. Maybe have hundreds of lucid dreams under your belt. See all of us selftitled "gurus" on these forums, nobody would buy a book written by us - unless we really had something new and at the same time tried and tested experiences to write about. If you make it fictional you could maybe get away with writing a book that could motivate people to get into LD's...

      just my thoughts...

Thank you for finding it interesting. My reason for joining here last time was to find someone experienced who could help me write (or perhaps give me permission to use existing texts) the how-to parts and let me write the fiction.

Still, it is true that people would not buy a book solely for instructions on how to LD if they did not trust the people(s) behind it, and that was my reason for abandoning the last project, which was more based on facts.

Hm. A fictional book about lucid dreaming would be awesome and I would definetly buy it.
